Privacy policy.

1. Scope

This policy explains how the iDid macOS application and the iDid website handle information. The Company responsible for iDid is Konoven OÜ, Pärnu mnt 388b, 11612 Tallinn, Estonia.

In this policy, “iDid” or the “App” means the iDid macOS application, “Website” means ididwork.today, and “we”, “us”, or “our” means Konoven OÜ.

2. Data handled by the App

iDid is a local-first application. The App does not require an account and does not transmit your tasks, work history, settings, repository information, or usage activity to Konoven OÜ. The App contains no advertising or behavioural tracking.

Your tasks, Spaces, Groups, Archive records, and automatic backups are stored inside iDid’s macOS sandbox container at ~/Library/Containers/today.ididwork.app/Data/Library/Application Support/idid/. App preferences and security-scoped bookmarks are also kept within the app container. Manual backup files remain in the location you choose. This information is handled only to provide the App’s features.

3. Git repository access

iDid accesses only local repositories that you explicitly select. It reads commit metadata needed for Meeting Mode, including commit messages, hashes, dates, and author information. iDid does not write to your repositories and does not upload repository content.

The current iDid release bundles libgit2 1.9.6, an open-source Git implementation, inside the macOS App Sandbox. iDid’s build excludes libgit2 network transports and external Git process execution. It uses the library only to open selected local repositories and read Git log metadata.

To retain access across launches, macOS provides iDid with a security-scoped bookmark for each selected folder. The bookmark, repository path, and selected author email addresses remain stored locally on your Mac.

4. Information you send to support

If you email us for support, we receive the address you use and any information you include in your message. We use it to respond, investigate the issue, maintain appropriate business records, and protect the App from misuse. Please do not include private task or repository content unless it is necessary and you choose to share it.

Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or to meet legal obligations. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising.

5. Website and download data

The Website uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors navigate and use the site. Microsoft may process device, browser, interaction, and network information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. This Website analytics service is not included in the iDid macOS App.

Our download service also records aggregate download totals and automated-traffic signals. These counters help us measure releases and filter likely bots; they are not used to build individual user profiles.

6. Disclosure and legal requirements

Because App data remains on your Mac, we do not have App data to share. Information sent to support or processed through the Website may be handled by service providers that operate those services, or disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights, or to investigate misuse.

7. Your choices

You control your local iDid data. You can remove a repository from iDid to discard its saved access, delete tasks and archives in the App, and delete backup files you created. To remove all remaining App data, delete the ~/Library/Containers/today.ididwork.app/ container from your macOS user account after uninstalling iDid.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information contained in support correspondence, subject to applicable law. Email your request to info@konoven.dev.

8. Children’s privacy

iDid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when iDid’s features, data practices, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
