Tasks move through iDid at your pace. Finishing something does not make it vanish.

The work you are doing now. Keep it visible in the main window or open it by itself in Minimal Mode.

Finished tasks stay visible until you have reviewed them. Reopen one if it needs more work.

Archive

Move reviewed work into a dated batch. Search it later without changing what was recorded.

BACKLOG

Not working on it now? Move it to the Backlog. Bring it back to Tasks At Hand when it becomes current.

Separate areas. Organize within them.

Use as much structure as you need. Ignore it when you do not.

SPACE

A clean boundary.

Each Space keeps its own tasks, Groups, completed work, and archive. Use separate Spaces for areas that should not share a list.

GROUP

Related work together.

Groups collect related tasks inside a Space. They stay useful across Tasks At Hand, Completed, Meeting Mode, and Archive.

TASK HIERARCHY

Break work down without turning it into a project plan.

Indent tasks into subtasks, outdent them again, and reorder the structure directly from the list.

MINIMAL MODE

Only the list you need right now.

Open Tasks At Hand in a smaller window. Switch Spaces, use Groups, finish tasks, and keep the rest of the app out of view.

Show what got done.

Bring completed and archived work into one clean view. Choose a date range, filter by Group, include subtasks, and copy the result as Markdown.

Keep reviewed work together.

Archive completed tasks as a batch with an optional note. The completion period, Groups, task hierarchy, and history stay together.
